Soft Enamel Pins
Enamel Pin. Starting with a base metal made of brass, the design is die-struck into the metal,
creating a series of recesssed cavities.
Each cavity then has a surface-application of an exact color-matched enamel poured into the
cavity.
The pin is then plated with either gold or silver metal depending on the "look" you want.
Because the enamels do not come all the up to the level of the metal-work, this type of pin
gives the gold or silver metal more emphasis.
Depending on the design, this can actually make a better looking pin that the hard enamel pin.
This pin is a excellent mid-budget pin.
