CUSTOM PINS
There is probably no other promotional product more tied to event marketing than
a custom pin.

The primary job of a promotional product is to grab attention. It must be visible, it
must get noticed and it must carry your message.

Lapel pins become fashion accessories and "promotional jewelry" if they are
properly designed.

Let our art department show you how your logo, your product or your event can be
broadcast continuously through the use of this simple, but effective item.

Custom pins have certainly stood the test of time. Custom pins have been used as promotional items for about a hundred years. Most commonly used to
promote sporting events, custom pins have also become synonymous with the promotion of almost any conceivable event, from trade shows to weddings!

ARC Marketing uses the same factories as used by the Professional Sports Leagues (the NFL and Major League Baseball, for example) so you know the
quality will be first class.

Getting a custom pin from ARC Marketing is easy. We will work alongside you through every step, from design to delivery, so all that you need to worry
about is your event.

The first step in getting a custom pin is what we call a "Virtual Pin". A Virtual Pin is a computerized picture of your new custom pin. When the
preliminary Virtual Pin is finished, we email the design to you. Then we start fine-tuning your new custom pin. You just tell us what to change, and then
we will email you a new Virtual Pin. This continues until we have arrived at the perfect design for your new custom pin.

The second step is for you to decided on quantity and the type of custom pin (hard enamel or soft enamel). Since the type of pin does affect your price,
this is an area that deserves consideration. In most cases, the soft enamel pin is perfect. Both hard enamel custom pins and soft enamel custom pins use
the same high quality base metal (usually brass or copper plated with shiny gold or silver metal). The visible difference is in the depth of the enamel. On a
hard enamel custom pin, the enamels (color polymers) are raised to the level of the metal-work and then polished smooth. this gives the surface of the pin
a finished, lustrous appearance. Since the enamels are fairly thick, they are also more durable. On a soft enamel pin, the enamels (a rich enamel paint) are
put just onto the surface of the pin, below the level of the metal-work. This gives the soft enamel pin a unique "3-D" appearance. Since the enamels used
on  soft enamel custom pin are just surface applications, it is possible (but not likely) that a color can get scratched through to the base metal.
